BHUBANESWAR: Prof. Datteswar Hota was on Friday appointed as the first Vice-Chancellor of Odisha University of Health Sciences, Bhubaneswar by Governor Ganeshi Lal.
Hota has been appointed the VC of Odisha University of Health Sciences for a period of one year with effect from the date he assumes the charge as such or until further order, which is earlier.
Governor Prof Lal made this appointment by exercising his power conferred under Sub-Section (7) of Section 9 of Odisha University of Health Sciences Act, 2021.
