KEONJHAR/BHUBANESWAR: Trilochan Sahoo is a noted author in Odisha. He has a hobby to make documentary film. He born in Fakirpur village of Keonjhar District of Odisha in a agriculture family. His many documentary films and short films have been apprised and recognized by audience. Sri Sahoo is specially working for promotion and conservation of Art & Culture, Nature, Literature in Odisha.
He has a bright educational career. He has completed his post graduation in Economics after completion of his Master of Finance & Control(MFC) from Utkal University. He was also the Topper in Bachelor of Arts in Economics from North Orissa University Odisha in the year 2010. He is publishing a Research Journal naming as “Next India Journal Of Social Science” which is registered at RNI, Gov. of India.
Sri Trilochan Sahoo has make more than thirty short and documentary films on different social activities. His major films are Save Electricity, Fakirpur Ama Sanskruti Ama Parampara, Gadachandi, Chakratirtha, , Lift, Swachha Bharata, Nilarakta, Last Phone Call of Mother, Mati Luha, Paribarttana,Life in lock Down, Jari, Driver, Chitra Kagaja, Mun Bi Vote Debi, Barddi, Mo Triranga, Basin, Rakta Jhoti and Avagini, Helmet etc,.
He has represented Odisha in “Eastern Regional Young Writers Meet” at Southfield College, Darjeeling, Kolkata organized by “Kendra Sahitya Akademi”, Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India from 22 and 23 October , 2022.
He has also represented Odisha in “International Literature Festival 2022” at Kolkata jointly Organized by Ministry of Education & Ministry of Culture , Govt. of India and Sunday Times Kolkata on 06th November 2022.
“Katha Kuhuka” programme have been launched in You Tube by Trilochan Sahoo in which the interview and documentary film on prominent personalities in different filed have been taken place. In this consequences prominent Puppet Dance artist Sj. Maguni Kuanr has been added in the first episode.
Sri Sahoo awarded and felicitated from many reputed organization and Government. Pragyanshree Sanskrutika Parishad , Anandapur awarded Sri Sahoo towards secure of Topper Position in Economics in North Orissa University for the Year 2010.
He has also received “PRAKRUTI BANDU AWARD” for the Year 2021 from Department of Forest and Environment, Govt. of Odisha.
He has received SAHESWARA SANMANA , YOUTH UTKAL Award , UDAYARAAG SANMANA for his literary work.He is the Winner of UTKAL SHORT FILM FESTIVAL organized at Bhubaneswar in the year 2020.
Recently Sri Trilochan Sahoo has been placed in Odia Wikipedia. In this regard he convey his gratitude and thanks to all his well wisher and to whole Wikipedia team. Now we may call him the nature and culture man of Odisha and he is much more familiar by this name.
