BHUBANESWAR: With Jewellery shops not complying GST rules and guidelines, officials have been conducting raids on Jewellery shops across Odisha including in twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack.
A total of 17 teams comprising 90 officials and staffs conducted raids at several shops in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Puri, Nayagarh, Bolangir, Sambalpur , Berhampur and others cities.
GST enforcement team in Bhubaneswar, conducted raids at 4 shops including Cuttack Jewellery, Bishandayal, Abhipsa in Nayagarh and shop in Puri town, sources said. GST Officials suspect that jewellery shop owners are not complying taxes and other duties.
