BHUBANESWAR: The BJD on Tuesday faced yet another jolt just before the first phase of polling in Odisha slated for May 13 and major setback to the ruling party in western district of Sambalpur after Former BJD MLA Dr Raseswari Panigrahi resigned from the Party.
She tendered her resignation to BJD Supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. Dr Panigrahi’s resignation will certainly impact BJD’s vote share in Sambalpur MLA seat and as well as Sambalpur Lok Sabha seat.
‘I have resigned from the primary membership of the BJD and all its posts,’ Dr Panigrahi said.
