BHUBANESWAR: In a joint forest raid conducted today i.e on 17.2.2024 by Forest Wing of Odisha Vigilance on an illegal laterite stone quarry at Patabara, PS- Byree, Dist- Jajpur, one Pickup Van, 3 nos of Power Tiller Machines along with minor minerals detected and seized.
In another operation today on running of an illegal sawmill at village-Mouda, PS- Mahanga, Dist-Cuttack by Forest Wing of Odisha Vigilance, sawmill accessories along with valuable timber detected and seized.
In total, seized value comes to approx Rs.15 Lakhs. Further investigation continuing. Detailed report follows.
