BHUBANESWAR: Odisha Chief Electoral Officer Nikunja B Dhal along with Additional CEO N Thirumala Naik on Thursday addressed a press meet here regarding the issuance of notifications for the 4th phase of elections(1st phase in Odisha).
Nomination for Lok Sabha and State Legislative Assemblies begins today and concludes on April 25th, 2024.
Lok Sabha seats like Kalahandi, Nabarangpur, Berhampur and Koraput along with MLA seats under it will goes to poll in first phase in Odisha on May 13.
Nikunja Bihari Dhal , Odisha’s Chief Electoral Officer said that the statutory process for election to four Parliamentary and 28 Assembly constituencies of Odisha has begun today. The last date for filing nominations is April 25; the scrutiny of nominations will be done on April 26 and the date of polling is May 13. ‘All arrangements have been made for receipt of nominations and the returning officers and other officers have been adequately trained so that nobody commits an error,”.
