BHUBANESWAR: During performing patrolling duty at Baramunda Bus stand area by the Excise team Bhubaneswar time about 5 AM. On suspicion detained 5 person having airbag and jari basta containing 30 kg of Ganja.
All are from Bihar and involved in Ganja transportation from Kandhamal to Bihar by bus and train. As liquor is Ban in Bihar, there is high demand of Ganja. All of them are involved in this illegal business for high profit making. Case instituted vide PR no-154 of IE BBSR Range-II and PR no-188 of OIC BBSR-III Excise Station
Name of the accused persons : Binu Bhai 52 years, Ara district of Bihar, Ajit Paswan 27 years, Gaya district of Bihar, Damodar Kumar 27 years, Gaya district of Bihar, Abhaya Kumar 38 years, Ara district of Bihar and Sankar Kumar-26 years, Gaya district of Bihar.
