TALCHER/KANIHA: NTPC Kaniha under its CSR initiative organized a distribution programme of essential items among the displaced villagers of Rayagada ,Satkosia Zone, Angul on 23rd April 2018.
Items like Dhoti, Saree, Chadar, Bed sheet and mosquito nets were distributed by Chief Guest, Rehman DFO, Satkosia Wild Life Sanctuary & P.K. Sahoo, DGM (HR) to around 80 tribal families of the wild life protected zone.
Chief Guest, Rehman DFO, Satkosia Wild Life Sanctuary emphasized upon the mutual cooperation and peaceful co-existence amongst the tribal inhabitants to take advantages of the various support made by several organizations. He also thanked NTPC Kaniha CSR department for this noble gesture to this cause of tribal community.
P. K. Sahu focused upon the diversified opportunities available in present society like choosing career for the youth and motivated them towards becoming the part of ongoing development process with positive attitude towards life and society.
Finally this programme concluded with words of appreciation by the villagers of Rayagada, Satkosia, Angul.A.K. Das, Senior Manager(HR), M. V. Rao, ES(HR), Bhismadev Nayak ,Junior Officer(HR) along with CSR coordinator Prasanta Kumar Swain were present on the occasion, added Amit Kumar Behera, Manager(PR).
