BHUBANESWAR: DGP SK Bansal on Monday inaugurated the Monitoring of Atrocity, National Commission Cases & Assistance to Victim (MANAV) Portal and “Fleet Management System”.
MANAV Portal will expedite the investigation of criminal cases under the SC & ST (POA) Act, timely delivery of compensation to the victims within 21 days and monitoring of National and State Commission’s Cases.
Fleet Management system is centralised monitoring for planning & management of entire fleet of Odisha Police for cost efficient procurement, distribution, maintenance and optimal utilisation of the police vehicles.
These two modules were developed to meet objectives enumerated under 5T initiative of Government. Special DGP (HRPC) Sri AM Prasad, Director (SCRB) Sri VT Mishra, ADGP (Headquarters) Sri RK Sharma, ADGP (L&O) Sri Sanjay Kumar, ADGP (Mordnisation) Rajesh Kumar, IGP (Provisioning) Yatindra Koyal, IGP (Personnel) Praveen Kumar & DIGP (HRPC) Satyajit Nayak were present.
