BHUBANESWAR: Finally, crorepati DSP arrested . Earlier, on Tuesday, Abhinav Dalua, DSP in-charge, Sadar PS, Dist-Dhenkanal was apprehended by Odisha Vigilance while demanding and accepting bribe of Rs 30,000/- from a Complainant (coal transporter) to facilitate his transportation business. The tainted bribe amount of Rs 30,000/- has been recovered from Sri Dalua and seized.
Following the trap, simultaneous searches are going on at 8 locations of Sri Dalua from DA angle.
In this connection, Vigilance Cell PS Case No.6 dated 29.08.2022 u/s 7 P.C Amendment Act,2018 has been registered.Investigation in progress against Sri Dalua. Detailed report follows.
Locations of search:
1) Ramchandrapur, Jatni, Khurdha plot no 32/34, Khurda
2) Dhenkanal at -4 places
3) Meghadambaru, Balasore, paternal house of Sri Dalua.
4) Jharbeda, Turumunga, Dist- Keonjhar, in-laws house
5) Native place at Narasinghpur Dist:- Cuttack
8 teams comprising 1 Addl SP, 9 DSPs, 8 Inspectors and other staff engaged in search.
