BOLANGIR/BHUBANESWAR: On 21.12.2022 CID-CB team proceeded to the spot along with the Scientific team. The team examined Kantabanji jail staff and UTPs in Bolangir and seized relevant official documents in presence of witnesses under seizure list.
Seized one gamucha and a Kitchen cloth, one pair of sleeper belonging to Gobind Sahu, and one wooden log from the spot of hanging collected by the Scientific Team and packed and sealed them properly in presence of witnesses. The enquiry is on and the entire team is camping at Kantabanji.
CID, Crime Branch Cuttack took over the enquiry of the Kantabanji PS UD Case No- 15 dtd. 20.12.2022 relating to unnatural death of UTP Sh. Gobind Sahu in Kantabanji Sub-jail on 20.12.2022. A team was formed consisting of 1 Dy. SP, 1 Inspr., 2 Si (1 Cyber expert), an Assistant Director, Biology Division, 1 Scientific Officer, Toxicology, 1 photographer and others of SFSL, Bhubaneswar. The team led by DSP Bijay Mallick reached at Kantabanji PS and took charge of the relevant documents. The team reached at Balangir on 20.12.2022 night.
