BHUBANESWAR: At least 4 including 3 Superintendents of GST & Central Excise, Bhubaneswar Circle, namely Artabhanjan Kar, Pradip Kumar Acharya and NN Sahoo along with accounts officer of Centurion Institute of Technology, Ashutosh Padhy were on Tuesday arrested by the CBI during a deal to cover up GST bills of the said Engineering College.
CBI sleuths arrested 4 during transaction of Rs 10 lakh from Centurion Institute of Technology’s Account Officer Ashutosh Padhy. The CBI sleuths laid a trap to catch the Superintendent of GST & Central Excise, Artabhanjan Kar and the Centurion Institute of Technology’s Account Officer red-handed. When the three Superintendents of GST & Central Excise visited the Hotel New Marrion here to receive the alleged bribe amount from Padhy, the sleuths nabbed the four persons while exchanging the bribe amount.
