BHUBANESWAR: The 2001 Batch Odisha cadre IPS officer and IGP at Biju Patnaik State Police Academy, S Shyni has got DGP Disk from Bureau of Research and Development under the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Kerala born Shyni played a key to in changes brought in police training syllabus. Presently, she posted as IGP, BPSPA and has imparted training to over 3,000 police personnel ranging from the rank of Constable to DSP.
Ministry of Home Affairs recognised her contribution and awarded her with DGP Disk at a function held in New Delhi.
