BHUBANESWAR:In a democratic country, the election process should be conducted impartially. However, according to the 2024 general election experience, the BJP has identified 108 booths out of 358 booths in Nuapada constituency as sensitive.
In this regard, a BJP delegation met the State Election Officer and submitted a list of the said booths. The party has demanded that web cameras be installed in the concerned booths for free and fair elections and central security forces be deployed as required.
State Vice President Dr. Yatin Mohanty led the state spokespersons Dilip Mallik, Rajendra Panda, Legal Cell State Coordinator Jayant Jena and spokesperson Satyatrimayi Mukaddam met the state election officer and submitted their demands and discussed the issue.
After the discussion, the state election officer promised to make all necessary arrangements for free and fair elections in the sensitive booths provided by the party.
