NEW DELHI/BHUBANESWAR: BJP National Vice-President and Spokesperson, Baijayant ‘Jay’ Panda, who always remain busy with his work, seems, got enough quality time even during the lockdown period.
The Industrialists’ turned former 4th times Parliamentarian, since the outbreak of COVID-19 , has been very active and played a key role in providing safe food and shelters to Odia people staying outside Odisha and also talked with several State Governments , where Odia people, have been stranded due to nationwide lockdown.
Apart from that, the senior BJP leader, Panda, too monitoring relief and restoration works carried out by party workers across the Country including in his home State of Odisha.
“In case you’re wondering what I’ve been doing during the #lockdown , the whole day is spent on videoconferences, audio conferences & scores of individual phone calls with fellow karyakartas, coordinating various Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)initiatives like #FeedTheNeedy, distributing masks etc,” Panda twitted.
It may be noted here that due to pro-active role by the former MP Panda, hundreds of Odia people stranded in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra and Gujarat got support from the respective States.
