BHUBANESWAR:   It seems, the tall claims of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi led first ever BJP Government in Odisha to take action against 3 tainted IPS Officers including 1997 batch DS Kutey, 1998 batch Ravi Kant and 2004 batch Ashish Singh for their open love for Naveen Patnaik and BJD during the last Parliamentary and Assembly polls seems turning an eyewash.

These 3 IPS Officers DS Kutey, Ashish Singh and Ravi Kant were considered as left, right and middle hands of Fugitive Tamil Sanyashi, VK Pandian , who was unsuccessful to grab the power in Odisha using Naveen Patnaik’s studied silence and innocence.

After these IPS officers came under scanner, the BJP Government in Odisha posted them in insignificant positions like OSD Home Department but later things moving in a peculiar situation putting the Mohan Charan Majhi Government in quandary.

After Tamil Sanyashi’s left hand Ashish Singh of 2004 batch went to ITBP as IGP for a period of 5 years, now his right hand, DS Kutey reportedly had applied for Central deputation and he is most likely to join in the Border Security Force(BSF) soon, highly placed sources in Police Headquarters’’ revealed on Sunday.   Sources in Union Home Ministry said, an order has been issued or will be soon in this regard.

Like Ashish Singh has strong Uttar Pradesh lobby, Kutey , who hails from Maharashtra has also considerable influence in Delhi , he is mostly likely leaving Odisha soon, added sources.

After Ministry of Home Affairs directed  Mohan Charan Majhi led BJP Government in Odisha   to relive Tainted IPS officer Ashish  Singh, who posted as IGP , ITBP for 5 years, social media users ran after the BJP Government criticising Government’s inability to punish a tainted IPS Officer like Singh. Singh, Kutey and Ravi Kant names came under scanner for their role favouring Naveen Patnaik’s BJD during last Parliamentary and Assembly polls.

Sources said, after left hand and right hand leaving Odisha, VK Pandian’s middle man Ravi Kant may opt the same way for 5 years at least till 2029 general elections to escape from any action of BJP Government in Odisha for their dubious role.
