BJP government committed to overall development of Nuapada: Manmohan Samal

NUAPADA:Nuapada is a district with potential. There is immense potential in every field from agriculture to industry. The process has been started to speed up the irrigation system in this district for the convenience of agriculture.

Arrangements have been made to establish agro-industries, open processing units, cold storages, etc. Discussions are underway on how fish farming and tourism industries can be developed here. Survey work has started on which industries can be established in Nuapada.

The BJP government is committed to the overall development of this district. The hopes and trust of the people of Nuapada are increasing on the development work of the government. In the coming days, everyone will have to make joint efforts for the development of Nuapada, said Shri Manmohan Samal, who came to Nuapada on a visit after assuming charge as the state president again.

Shri Samal says that after forming the BJP government alone in the state, it has been implementing one plan after another to build a developed Odisha. The successful Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi does what he says. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi for 11 years, India has become the fourth largest economy in the world. The Garib Kalyan Yojana has changed the living standards of crores of families.
The income of farmers has increased. 80 crore people have been provided free ration under the Food Security Scheme, 50 crore citizens have been provided health security under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana. Crores of families have received cooking gas under the Ujjwala Yojana and the benefits of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. After the Covid pandemic, India has been able to adjust its economy at the fastest pace in the world. Historic steps have been taken for the poor, lower middle class and middle class by reforming the GST. This will reduce the costs of poor and middle class families due to the reduction in the prices of daily necessities.
Within 24 hours of the BJP government being formed in Odisha, the four doors of the Puri temple were opened. The Ratnabhandar of Lord Sri Jagannath was opened and the renovation work was completed. The support price per quintal of paddy was increased, helping to double the income of farmers. Arrangements were made to give Rs 50,000 to mothers and sisters of the state under the Subhadra Yojana. Odisha’s mothers and sisters have now become number 1 under the Lakshpati Didi Yojana.
The promise of providing health insurance along with an allowance of Rs 3,500 for the elderly and differently-abled above 80 years has been fulfilled. The process has started to build paved roads in all villages. Plans have been made to build 75,000 kilometers of roads. Arrangements have been made to irrigate 15 lakh hectares of land. Under the efforts of the popular Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi, an investment of Rs 17 lakh crore has come for setting up industries.
This has created employment opportunities. A new education policy has been implemented in Odisha. This will make Odisha self-reliant. The Mohan government has made continuous efforts so that the people of Odisha do not have to go out to work. The BJP government has become the trust of the people by fulfilling one after another the promises made in the resolution. So far, 11 out of 21 promises have been fulfilled. The remaining 7 promises will also be fulfilled very soon. The BJP is now in the government. The various problems that were in Nuapada earlier have to be solved and it has to be developed as the No. 1 district of Odisha. State President Shri Samal has called upon the workers to work hard day and night from now on in this regard.
Shri Samal visited Nuapada and participated in various service programs and activists’ conferences. On this occasion, a tree plantation program was organized in Khadial as part of the Mother’s Tree Campaign. On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the State President Shri Samal inaugurated the blood donation camp. He attended the welcome meeting held in Khadial. Shri Samal was given a grand welcome on this occasion.
At the merger ceremonies held in Khadial and Nuapada, many BJD and Congress sarpanches, committee members, and former sarpanches joined the BJP along with hundreds of their supporters.
During his visit, Shri Samal was warmly welcomed by the party workers at Kharial, Komna Chack and Nuapada. State President Shri Samal thanked the people of Nuapada for the warm welcome.
Former state president Basant Panda, state general secretary (organization) Manas Mohanty, state secretary Saroj Kar, former MLA from Khariya Hitesh Bagrti, Nuapada district president Kamalesh Dixit, senior leaders Subrata Thakur, Yadu Panigrahi, Prasanna Padhi, Abhinandan Panda and other state, district and mandal level officials were present at the event.
