BJP announces 8 more MLA candidates in Odisha, Gitanjali Sethi for Kendrapara, Arindam Roy for Salepur and Prashant Jagdeb for Khurda, know details

BHUBANESWAR:  The BJP on Saturday announced 8 more MLA candidates for Odisha Assembly polls.

As per the announcement, former Kendrapara Zila Parishad Chairperson, Gitanjali Sethi has been fielded against BJD’s Ganeswar Behera and Congress’s Sipra Mallick for Kendrapara Assembly seat while leading Odia film actor , Arindam Roy has been chosen as Party’s MLA candidate for Salepur Assembly seat while senior leader Murli Manohar Sharma will fight from Champua MLA seat in Keonjhar against BJD’s Sanatan Mahakud.

Prashant Jagdeb is Party’s MLA candidate for Khurda Assembly seat, for which, BJD named Rajendra Sahoo as its candidate.

Dr Fakir Mohan Naik will fight for Telkoi (ST) Assembly seat while Rabindra Andia is Party’s MLA candidate for Basta Assembly seat.

Youth leader Banikalyan Mohanty is MLA candidate for Basudevpur Assembly seat while Seemarani Nayak is for Hindol(SC) Assembly seat.
