NEW DELHI/BHUBANESWAR: At least 2 BJD Rajya Sabha MPs, read, Upper House leader and National Spokesperson, Dr Sasmit Patra and MP Manas Mangaraj have been nominated to various Parliamentary Standing Committees.
Dr Patra, who is in his second term in Rajya Sabha, appointed to Parliamentary Standing Committee on Petroleum and Natural Gas. Apart from Standing Committee, Dr Patra was appointed in August, 2022 to Consultative Committee on Coal and Mines.
“I thank my leader and Hon’ble CM Shri. Naveen Patnaik for his kindness and benevolence,” MP Dr Sasmit Patra said.
On the other hand, MP Manas Mangaraj, who is also BJD’s general secretary (media affairs) been nominated to the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Transport, Tourism and Culture. “Profuse thanks to my leader Hon’ble CM Naveen Patnaik for his blessings and inspiration. I owe all my success and achievements to him,” MP Manas Mangaraj said.
