BHUBANESWAR: Dubai witnessed a triumphant display of endurance and determination as Sanjeeb Panada, IPS, Dr. Satyajit Naik, IPS, Gangadhar Nayak, OAS, and the dynamic duo Manas and Ranjit from BCAC (Bhubaneshwar Cycling and Adventure Club) successfully conquered the challenging Dubai full marathon on January 7, 2024. The event, staged under the auspices of the Dubai Sports Council, unfolded on the renowned super-flat course along Jumeirah Beach Road, embraced by benign weather conditions.
Dr. Satyajit Naik, IPS, marked his debut in international full marathons (42.195Kms) at the 2024 Dubai Marathon, adding another remarkable achievement to his repertoire of accomplishments. This marked his third full marathon, having previously conquered the Mumbai full marathon twice. Dr. Naik, an IPS Officer, Marathon Runner, Adventure Cyclist, and Triathlete, is an alumnus of Bhubaneswar’s OUAT and the prestigious Indian School of Business (ISB).
The 2024 Dubai Marathon was made possible through the collaborative support of key sponsors and partners, including the Dubai Sports Council, adidas, Dubai Duty Free, EXEED by Al Ghurair, the Channel 4 Radio Network, ITP Media Group, Bisleri Water, Biofreeze, Dubai RTA, Dubai Police, Al Ameen Service, Dubai Municipality, and SIRO One Za’abeel, the first fully integrated Fitness + Recovery hotel in Dubai.
