Bansidhar & Ila Panda Foundation announces “The BIPF School”

BHUBANESWAR:Bansidhar & Ila Panda Foundation (BIPF), the social wing of Indian Metals and Ferro Alloys Ltd (IMFA) announces opening of “The BIPF School” at Choudwar from academic year 2019. The BIPF School will be a CBSE-affiliated K12 English-medium school. In the first academic year, the school will be open for admission of students from KG to Class 5, and gradually admission of students upto Class 12 will commence in phased manner. Admission of first batch of student will start in January 2019.

The BIPF School campus is spread over 3 acres and it is equipped with all modern facilities such as; smart classes, computer laboratories, a library as well as a discovery room. The facility is also built to host a number of extracurricular activities like debate, quiz sessions, inter-school competitions, music and dance activities, athletics, soccer, hockey, cricket, basketball, badminton and a wide range of indoor activities such as; table tennis, chess, yoga etc.

Giving details about the school, Mrs Shaifalika Panda, CEO, BIPF said, “The BIPF School is about quality education with a culture of excellence. With equal emphasis on academics, extra-curricular activities and sports, our aim is to create well-rounded individuals with a global outlook.”

“With nearly four decades of experience in the education sector, BIPF has also engaged EROCON, one of India’s leading educational consultants to oversee both academic development and operational aspects of the school. Designed by Design Atelier Urbis, a top New Delhi-based Architecture & Urban Design Firm, the school campus is a balance between aesthetic and functionality. Well ventilated rooms and students’ safety especially for children with special needs has been given primary importance,” said  Manisha Mitra, former (Founder) Principal of DPS Kalinga, who is an advisor to The BIPF School.

 Hrushikesh Sahoo, a Choudwar resident and familiar with BIPF’s work added, “Over the years BIPF has worked for the development of our area. This school proves yet again that they are sincere about their work and truly believe that everyone must have the opportunity of quality education.”

The Bansidhar & Ila Panda Foundation, the social arm of IMFA, has been working over the years in Skill, Preventive Health, Women Empowerment, Water Sanitation and Education. The BIPF School is being set up with the aim to bring excellent educational facility in the district of Cuttack and surrounding areas.
