BHUBANESWAR:   BJP National Vice President and Party’s Lok Sabha candidate for Kendrapara Parliamentary seat in Odisha, Baijayant Jay Panda on Tuesday launched an offensive against Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and his most trusted lieutenant, VK Pandian during a press conference in Bhubaneswar.

Responding to media questions at BJP State Headquarters’ here  during a press meet, Jay Panda reiterated Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s claim of BJD’s Government’s expire date slated for June 4 and hoped that people of Odisha will give a chance to BJP.

Panda said, ‘BJD had been extending support to NDA basing on issues, which other parties also extending to us,” but ruling Party in Odisha has completely failed.

When asked about VK Pandian’s claim that BJD Government will take oath on June 9, the BJP National VP said, Odisha Assembly has 147 members while 2 people flying in a chopper claiming to form the Government, which looks like a gimmicks,” he added.

In Kendrapara, Jay Panda, said, a large number of people from BJD and Congress joining BJP and the atmosphere was fully in favour of BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Party will cross 400 this time along with a massive win in Kendrapara Lok Sabha seat.

Zilla Parisahd Chairperson and several other senior leaders of BJD already joined BJP, he said. ‘Two times Lotus and two times development, ‘he said. BJP Government never stopped any welfare schemes but Odisha Government till yet not implemented many Central Government schemes. People started knowing that from free rice to Pacca house, everything is PM Modi providing and BJD can’t kept blind people for more times, he argued.

Railway connection provided to Kendrapara since last 5 years but not a single industry has set up its plant in the district due to State Government’s negligence, he alleged.
