BHUBANESWAR: Three students of the Institute of Agricultural Sciences (IAS), faculty of agricultural sciences of SOA here, who have emerged successful in the Odisha civil service examination results of which were published recently, were felicitated by SOA Founder President Prof. (Dr.) Manojranjan Nayak on Saturday.
While Ms. Swetalina Sahu, a student of B.Sc. (Agriculture) of 2014-17 batch secured the 30th rank in the examination, Ms. Desalin Sethi (2015-18) and Mr. S.D Kiran Kumar (2014-17 batch) were placed 67th and 229th respectively.
The students thanked the university and Dean of IAS, Prof. S.K. Rout and other teachers for their guidance and encouragement which led to their success.
Prof. Pradipta Kumar Nanda, Vice-Chancellor of SOA and Prof. Bijay Kumar Sahu, Advisor of IAS, also congratulated the students.
