BHUBANESWAR:BJP, the synonym of development, has formed the government alone in Odisha after 78 years of change in the governance system and has gained the trust of the people in the last 18 months. Inspired by the ideology of BJP and expressing confidence in the developmental work of the double-engine government in the state, today, the Cuttack Sadar Assembly constituency of Kanderpur No. 5, district. Zone District Council Member Pradeep Kumar Mahali, Dharana Gram Panchayat Sarpanch Ratnakar Raut, Babujang Gram Panchayat Sarpanch Swathi Bhuyan, Khemjijanga Gram Panchayat Sarpanch Sarada Mohanty, Mohammadpur Gram Panchayat Sarpanch Pratibha Behera, Nemol Gram Panchayat Sarpanch Sansmita Mohanty, Palada Gram Panchayat Sarpanch Chinmayi Behera, Daspada Gram Panchayat Sarpanch Minti Sethi, Daspada Gram Panchayat Nayab Sarpanch Yamuna Murmu, Prahrajpur Gram Panchayat Vardipanch Abdul Wahid Khan, Khemjijanga Gram Panchayat Nayab Sarpanch Sulochana Sethi along with other public representatives and ward members have officially joined the BJP today, surrounded by hundreds of their supporters. This merger has strengthened not only the Cuttack Sadar assembly constituency or Cuttack district but also the party organization in the state, said State President Shri Manmohan Samal at the merger ceremony held at the state office today.
On this occasion, Deepak Hati, Prasanna Hati, Prabhanjan Swain, Balaram Barik, Manoj Kumar Sahu, Hrishikesh Barik of Kanderpur Gram Panchayat; Alok Narayan Khuntia, Sarat Chandra Raut, Bansidhar Dash, Vichitranand Swain, Dharanidhar Sahu, Biswajit Khuntia of Babujanga Gram Panchayat; Ratikant Sahu, Kartak Sethi, Sanatan Dash, Rajesh Dash, Bula Barik, Kulamani Sahu of Khemjijanga Gram Panchayat; Saroj Kumar Behera, Shiv Prasad Malla, Prakash Chandra Patra, Manoranjan Samal, Pradeep Kumar Behera, Ranjan Patra of Mohammedpur Gram Panchayat; Hundreds of BJD workers, including leaders like Sasmita Mohanty, Amiya Prasad Mohanty, Meghnad Das, Santosh Barik, Brajkishera Mallick, Sriram Mallick, Natbar Dalai, Golak Lenka from Nemol Gram Panchayat; Chinmayi Behera, Deepak Mallick, Kangali Das, Sudarshan Mallick, Ramesh Das, Saroj Mallick from Palada Gram Panchayat, have officially joined the BJP.
On the occasion of this merger festival, State President Shri Samal said that BJP is the largest political party in the world. BJP and NDA are in government in 21 states of the country. From MPs, MLAs to local representatives, BJP is being respected as a party in India. The trust and confidence of the people of the state is increasing day by day in the leadership of the successful Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the popular Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi.
The trust of the people is increasing day by day because the BJP government is doing what it says. The BJP is fulfilling all the promises made in the resolution. There is a lot of potential in Odisha, the successful Prime Minister Modi has dreamed of making Odisha the number 1 state. Odisha will have the largest share in the efforts he has made to build a developed India by 2047. For this, the popular Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi is working hard to create more opportunities in Odisha, starting from agriculture to industry, tourism, transportation and employment. We all have to work hard together to build a prosperous Odisha by 2036. We have to resolve to solve the basic problems of the people and move towards developing the state and the country, said Shri Samal.
State President Shri Manmohan Samal gave the oath to all the new members and welcomed them with the party cap. On this occasion, Cuttack Sadar MLA Shri Prakash Chandra Sethi, State Vice President Dr. Yatin Mohanty, Shri Ashok Mishra, State Secretary Shri Saroj Kar, Cuttack District President Shri Sukant Biswal, Senior Leader Shri Hrishikesh Jena and Mandal Presidents were present.
