BHUBANESWAR: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Bhubaneswar Mahanagar, Lingaraj Bhag organized Youth Conference at Saraswati Shishu Vidyamandir, Bargarh British Colony.
The chief guest in the inaugural session was Dr. Amiya Ranjan Nayak, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Bhubaneswar Mahanagara Shri Khirod Bihari and the keynote speaker Shri Jayakrishna Prushti, Head of Puri Division Propaganda were present.

He said that the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is celebrating its 100 years and the Sangh is making continuous progress towards its goals. He further said that India has been praised abroad for its great culture, education, history and health. The role of youth in nation building has always been important and the contribution of youth in freedom struggle can never be forgotten.

Indian knowledge tradition has been science-based. When the world was plunged in darkness, India’s knowledge and science showed the world a new direction. If the youth of today wants to, the country can move forward very fast.

Cultural programs such as drama, bhajan and patriotic competitions were organized by the youth present in the second session. There was a question forum based on Panch Parivartan and a play on cleanliness and environment was also staged.

In the inaugural session, Hon’ble Shri Rabi Narayan Panda, Co-Worker of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Odisha Eastern Province, addressed the youth. He said that the future of India is the youth. Swami Vivekananda called upon the youth of India to change the nation. If today’s youth gives their time for the nation, a massive change is possible in India. The responsibility and awareness of the youth is as important in today’s independent India as it was the duty of the youth during independence.

More than 600 youth participated in this conference. The youth enjoyed the program by enthusiastically participating in patriotic songs and dances. Finally, the program concluded with Vande Mataram.

The program was conducted by Shri Tapas Kumar Jena, Lingaraj Ward Ward and Tattvadwivedi Mishra, Co-Ward Ward. Other collaborators included Mr. Chinmoy Behera, Mr. Rajinikanth Raut, Mr. Tuna Sahu, Mr. Vishnu Charan Sahu and many other volunteers.
