Yuba Morcha’s massive run: “Namo Yuva Run for Drug-Free India’

BHUBANESWAR:On the occasion of the 75th birth anniversary of the late Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha has organized a marathon for a drug-free India in 75 major cities of the country. More than 1 lakh youth and women have participated in this race called “Namo Yuva Run”. This morning, the BJP Yuva Morcha organized the “Namo Yuva Run” in the capital of Odisha, Bhubaneswar with the great vision of building a drug-free India. More than 10,000 youth and women from various places participated in this huge race organized from Kalinga Stadium to Janata Maidan.

Odisha’s popular Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi inaugurated the rally by hoisting the flag at the Kalinga Stadium and calling upon the youth to come together and say, “Let us all take up the idea, build a drug-free society and India, fully utilize the power of the youth in building the country, and let us all come together and contribute to building a prosperous Odisha and a developed India.”
BJP Yuva Morcha Odisha State President Shri Abhilash Panda said, “Prime Minister Modiji is a source of inspiration for all of us. The Yuva Morcha has announced to organize this huge marathon today in support of the service being celebrated since his birthday and to give up addiction.”
Among others, Minister Nityanand Gand, Minister Suryavanshi Suraj, MLA Babu Singh, film star and MLA Shivu Mohapatra, BJP State Vice President Biranchi Narayan Tripathi, State General Secretary. Dr. Yatin Mohanty, Bhubaneswar District President Niranjan Mishra, former Cabinet Minister Arvind Tachali, State Executive Member Jagannath Pradhan, Odia film actor Sabyasachi Mishra were present and said that this is not just a marathon but a powerful social movement among the youth. This marathon is a promise, which paves the way for building a healthy, prosperous and drug-free India. Youth power is the main pillar of nation building, so we all together advised the youth to not consider this marathon as just a campaign, but as the foundation of health and unity.
The race concluded at Janata Maidan and prizes were distributed to the youth who secured first, second, and third places in the race.
