SAMBALPUR/BHUBANESWAR:In a commendable step towards the development of Sambalpur and employment opportunities for the youth, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan today inaugurated a ‘CII Model Career Centre’ (MCC). The centre will provide right career guidance to the children as per their education and interests and impart modern skill training through various training partners of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
Emphasizing industrial partnership in this program, Shri Pradhan urged industrialists of established companies like Bajaj and JCB to set up factories in Odisha or employ talented youth from here. On this occasion, Shri Pradhan handed over employment letters to about 40 youth after skill training, especially those selected in companies like Tata Electronics, who will go to Bengaluru and start their career with a salary of about Rs. 2 lakh per annum. Shri Pradhan said that CII is the largest organization in the field of industry at the national level. Through CII Model Career Center, children are being given skill training and employed in various companies, which is commendable.
Shri Pradhan, today many steps have been taken in Sambalpur with the help of CII. As per the agreement signed between CII and JITCO, in the first phase, 17 children from Sambalpur will go to Japan to work in the manufacturing and hospitality sectors. With this, Sambalpur will now create a new identity in the world for its art, culture and diamond bond for ‘skilled labour’. Shri Pradhan said that the main goal of the Prime Minister is to build a developed Odisha and a developed India from a developed Sambalpur and to empower the youth. Shri Pradhan said that this is a big gift for the youth of Sambalpur on the auspicious occasion of Mahashivaratri.
