BALASORE:Youth is more than 60 percent of India’s population. The more organized today’s youth society is, the more organized and strong the nation will be. Youth society has a leading role to play in building a well-organized society.
Realizing this, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has organized this youth conference as the second program of its centenary year, said Shri Durgaprasad Sahu, East Sector Officer of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. Shri Sahu participated in this program organized by RSS Balasore Nagar as the main speaker and appealed to the youth to organize themselves and engage themselves in this social awakening work.
The first step of the program was to join the Balasore district office bearer Barun Banachhor, who joined the organization on Vijaya Dashami 1925. This organization, founded by Dr. Keshav Dholam Hedgewar, has now become a huge tree.
In the centenary year, the Sangh volunteers said that the five-point program for the upliftment of the society will continue throughout the year on family communication, environmental protection, indigenous products and ideas, social harmony and civic duty. Balasore district office bearer Bijay Kumar Das was present on the stage.
District college principals Harichandan Das, Bishnupada Das and Manoj Khuntia conducted the program. More than 500 youth from Remuna, Nilagiri, Balasore Nagar and Balasore Sadar of the district participated in it. The participants who achieved success in various sports, speech and music competitions held earlier were awarded.
