BHUBANESWAR:Today, on 9.11.2025, a youth conference was organized by the Bhubaneswar Mahanagar Basanti Durg and Chandrashekhar branches of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh at the Dikshit Auditorium of Utkal University. Inaugurating the conference, the chief guest Dr. Srikant Mishra said that the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is celebrating its 100th year.
The Sangh is progressing towards its goal. Shri Tanmay Mohapatra, a prominent intellectual from the eastern outskirts of Odisha, joined as the keynote speaker and said,
The country’s great culture, education, history, health and reputation of India abroad were.
The role of youth in the formation of the country and the contribution of youth during the independence period cannot be forgotten. Indian knowledge tradition was consistent with science. When the whole world was full of darkness, Indian knowledge science showed a new path to the world. Along with this, Puri Department Sangh Vajra Shriyut Vinod Sahu and Bhubaneswar Metropolitan Karyabha Shri Kshirod Bihari were present at the inauguration.
In the second stage, cultural programs like drama, hymns and patriotic competitions were organized by the youth present. A quiz was staged on the five changes and a drama on cleanliness and environment was staged by the youth.
The chief guest, Professor Yagnaneswar Dandapat, Vice Chancellor of Utkal University, was present at the valedictory function. Shri Parag Abhayankar, All India Service Chief of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, was the keynote speaker and said that the dream of India is the youth, Swami Vivekananda was calling the youth of India for the change of India. If today’s youth give their time, India will change.
He emphasized the duty of the youth in the country’s independence and the awareness of the duty and responsibility of the youth in today’s independence.
More than 1700 youth attended the conference. The main attraction was Manoj Sahu’s sand art, along with which the youth danced and enjoyed the patriotic dance. Finally, the closing ceremony was held by singing the Bandamotram song.
The program was organized by Devi Prasad Mohapatra, the Chandrashekhar Bhaga, and Pratap Dwivedi, the Basanti Durga Bhaga, and others, including Divya Jyoti Viswal, Sindhu Sagar Mohanty, Manoj Puhan, and Subhasish Mahapatra, collaborated.
