BHUBANESWAR:National Volunteer Federation Bhubaneswar A youth conference was held on behalf of the Mahanagar Lingaraj Bhog at Saraswati Sishu Vidya Mandir, Bargarh British Colony. Dr. Amiya Ranjan Nayak was present as the chief guest at the inauguration of the conference and said that the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is progressing towards its goals as it celebrates 105 years.
Sangh Puri Department Publicity Chief Shriyut Jayakrishna Prasthi joined as the main speaker and introduced the great culture, education, heritage, health and the fame of India abroad. The role of youth in the formation of the country and the contribution of youth during independence will not be forgotten. Indian knowledge tradition was consistent with science. When the whole world was full of darkness, Indian science showed the world a new path. Bhubaneswar Metropolitan Office Shri Kshirod Bihari was present on this occasion.
On the second day, cultural programs like drama, hymns and patriotic competitions were organized by the youth present. A quiz was staged on the five changes and a drama on cleanliness and environment was staged by the youth.
In the event, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Odisha Eastern Frontier and Peripheral Affairs, Shri Ravi Narayan Panda joined as the main speaker and said that the dream of India is the youth, Swami Vivekananda called upon the youth of India for the change of India. Today’s youth will change India if they give their time. He emphasized on the role of youth in the country’s freedom, the role of youth in today’s independence and awareness of responsibility.
More than 1200 youth attended the conference. The main attraction was the canvas art of Shiv Prasad. Along with it, the youth danced and enjoyed the patriotic dance and song. Finally, the closing ceremony was held by singing the Vandamotra.
