BHUBANESWAR: The Union Government has approved premature repatriation of 1990-batch IPS YB Khurania to Odisha cadre.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet approved repatriating 1999-batch IPS officer YB Khurania to his parent cadre, Odisha.
Speculations are rife about the next Director General of Police for Odisha following this major development.
The Senior IPS officers is likely to be the new DGP of Odisha. Khurania is currently serving at Chandigarh with BSF western command.
