BHUBANESWAR/PURI: After strong resentment across the State as well as Opposition BJP and Congress stalling the proceedings of Odisha Assembly, the Naveen Patnaik led BJD Government here on Friday formed a 12-member House Committee led by the Speaker to submit a memorandum to Union Government and RBI Governor for retrieval of Srimandir funds from Yes Bank.
The panel chaired by Speaker Surjya Narayan Patro will submit a memorandum to the Government of India and RBI Governor relating to release of the funds from the bank.
The members in the panel include Leader Of Opposition Pradeepta Naik, Pradipta Naik, Bikram Keshari Arukha, Pramila Mallik, Narasingha Mishra, Debi Prasad Mishra, Laxman Munda, Tara Prasad Bahinipati, Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak, Subash Chandra Panigrahi, Mohan Majhi and Pratap Keshari Deb.
The SJTA has also written to the RBI for transfer of Rs 545 crore deposited by it in Yes Bank to UCO Bank.
