NEW DELHI:USA based Indian Author and Entrepreneur Rupa Dash was accorded a rousing reception in National Capital region recently. Smt Dash and her ten year old Creative Designer daughter Ayati Dash Kar were warmly greeted during a Get – together hosted by World Odisha Society (WOS) at Ghaziabad in their honour. Presided over by WOS’s Chairman Kishore Dwibedi, the congregation was attended by the members, Office – bearers and well wishers of WOS. Shri Dwibedi and other senior functionaries of WOS inaugurated Public Presentation of the Book “LEADhER” written by Rupa Dash during the occasion. In the much talked and well appreciated Book, Smt Dash has highlighted the true stories of sixty amazing women’s ascension to success from scratch Worldwide through their sheer hard work, persistent perseverance and unstinted determination. A fifth standard student in U.S.A, Ayati did the entire designing of the Book.
Both Rupa Dash and Ayati Dash Kar were felicitated with Uttariyas, Flower Bouquets and Mementos by the Chairman of WOS Kishore Dwibedi and other dignitaries present. Delivering his welcome address Shri Dwibedi heartily congratulated Rupa Dash for her brilliant literary acumen and inspiring initiatives towards women’s emancipation.
Replying to the felicitation Rupa Dash conveyed her gratitude to WOS for the moral support so graciously extended to her. She attributed the credit for her success in Business ventures and literary voyages to Divine connectivity. Others who greeted Smt Dash during the meeting include Dr Manoranjan Mohanty, Sudhir Dash, Abani Sahu, Nirmal Patnaik, Acharya Abhimanyu, Pushpanjali Barik, Reeta Patra, Bimal Bhal, Bibhu Prasad Sahoo, Gyana jena, Alpana Patnaik, Sumant Biswal, Jitendra Behera and Nandan Dwibedi.
Noted vocalist Acharya Abhimanyu, Ace CA Sudhir Dash and Joint General Secretary of WOS’s cuisine department Pushpanjali Barik enthralled the gathering with their scintillating and soul soothing Odia and Hindi popular musical numbers.
