BHUBANESWAR: On the eve of World Blood Donors Day, a voluntary blood donation camp was organized today by the Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS), Regional Branch, and the Commissionerate Police of Bhubaneswar-Cuttack at Baranga Police Station.
The camp was inaugurated by Commissioner of Police Shree Sanjeeb Panda, IPS, who also donated blood along with Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Cuttack Shree R. Prakash, IPS, and Executive Committee member Dillip Das Sharma.
A total of 65 units of blood were collected by the Central Red Cross Blood Bank, Cuttack. The event was coordinated by Deputy Commissioner and Joint Secretary Lalitendu Mohanty, in the presence of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Uma Shankar Pradhan and Inspector. Baranga PS Sri Biswaranjan Naik . ACP Sarat Kumar Sahu , PRO coordinated the event.
