KENDRAPARA/BHUBANESWAR: Prayers and good wishes started pouring in for leading social and media activist, Himanshu Bhusan Kar , popularly known as Happy Kar, who is undergoing treatment at a private hospital here following reports of COVID-19 positive.
A large number of woman and youths of Kar’s home districts of Kendrapara, on Friday evening offered mass Diyas at the Shree Lord Baladevjew Temple and prayed for his speedy recovery. While Kar in his message to well-wishers, also appealed people, those were in touch with him, be immediately isolated.
Sources said, activist Happy Kar earned huge admirations and praise for his good work in his home district and as well as in State Capital , where he is staying for his supportive and cooperative attitude during humanitarian crisis. During the 2 phases of COVID-19, Kar did extensive social work in Kendrapara and in Bhubaneswar and for which, people from various parts of the State are now praying for his speedy recovery.
