BHUBANESWAR: Senior Indian Forest Service official and Principal Chief Conservator of Forest, Sushant Nanda in a social media post , has informed about the sad demise of white tigress Sneha at Nandankanan.
She was born at Nandankanan and had given birth to 3 litters inlcudinf 9 cubs-3 white, 4 normal, 2 Melanistic.
‘Sad to inform that white tigress Sneha at Nandankanan expired today due to old age related health complications.She was born at Nandankanan and had given birth to 3 litters( 9 cubs-3 white, 4 normal, 2 Melanistic), IFS officer Nanda added.
The 14-year-old Sneha was under treatment after she fell ill yesterday reportedly due to old age and summer heatwave. She was administered saline and medicines. However, she succumbed.
