On the other hand, after the statement of Berhampur SP, Biju Janata Dal has held a press conference and shown its political immaturity. By holding a hasty press conference, BJD spokespersons have shown that who is inside the temple, or I did not eat bananas. Along with clearing themselves about the anti-social elements and involvement of criminals in their party, BJD spokespersons have made many serious allegations, which is a sign of their complete immaturity and childishness, said Dr. Mohanty.
In a press conference held at the state office, Dr. Mahanty said that the much-talked about Pitavas Panda massacre should not be politicized. The investigation process is ongoing and everyone should cooperate in this process of justice. The anti-social elements and criminals have no caste or religion. Those involved will come under investigation. The main objective is to catch all the culprits and give them appropriate punishment. Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi has ordered a proper investigation. Dr. Mahanty said that the culprits will definitely get punishment.
When in power, Biju Janata Dal leaders, MLAs, ministers were involved in heinous crimes like murder, rape, organ trafficking and the criminals were given protection. Even today, they have not given up that practice. Even now, BJD leaders are committing crimes like murder, rape in the state. The murder of senior lawyer Pitabas Panda of Berhampur is the latest example of this.
Today, in the press conference, BJD spokespersons themselves were exposing the naked form of politics on the corpses of judges and police officers. But they should remember that for the last 24 years, the prevalence of criminals was increasing in Ganjam district. The then BJD government was encouraging anti-social elements and using them in politics. Ganjam has always been a sensitive district in the field of law and order and the former Chief Minister represented that district.
What the police have said in the matter of the murder of the law-abiding Pitavas Panda will have to be proven in court. Everyone will come to the trial. Such comments by a political party during the investigation show immaturity. It is not enough to just make a complaint. Whoever has the information and data can give it in court. But asking such questions is complete immaturity and a sign of childishness, said Dr. Mohanty.
But the “people’s government” of the Honorable Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi is a zero tolerance government against violence. In just 15 days of our government, the police have revealed everything about the murder of Pitabas Panda. The police have been able to track down the criminals involved in the murder case while they were hiding in different states and arrest a total of 12 people.
The investigation is ongoing and the police have said that those involved will be arrested very soon. BJD cannot digest the truth. After the involvement and arrest of its own party’s district president Vikram Panda, the character of BJD has been exposed. Dr. Mohanty said that BJD is cooperating with the police investigation without trying to hide its crime.
