The department has further forecast that the depression would move in northwest direction along the Odisha coast and trigger rain from October 10.

“A few places in the coastal parts of the State will experience rainfall from October 10. There will be heavy rainfall at some places in coastal Odisha from October 11,” said an official of the meteorological department.
