BHUBANESWAR:There were days when our agents were not present at all the polling booths. Learning from the defeat and reviewing the defeat, today we are victorious. We all fought together in the Nuapada by-election and achieved a historic victory. Both the opposition BJD and Congress parties attacked us by telling many lies out of fear of their imminent defeat.
They did not hesitate to use abusive words like vote stealing and beeman. But the lies of the opposition did not work and the people of Nuapada gave them a befitting reply. An operation like Operation Sindhur was carried out in Nuapada. The people of Nuapada voted in record numbers and made BJP candidate Shri Jai Dholakia win by a historic margin. Which has changed the political tide in the state. Congress suffered a defeat for Bibishan and action will be taken against him, said Congress State President Shri Bhakta Das. If that happens, then the Congress party, which has a 70 percent majority, will be completely wiped out, said popular Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi.
Our party has achieved a huge victory in the Nuapada by-election due to the tireless efforts of the party’s Devdarlab workers. The leaders, MLAs, MPs, and ministers who were in the area will prepare a list of local problems of the area and all the problems will be solved. I have already said that the responsibility of the development of Nuapada is mine. I will take steps to expedite everything that has been announced. Starting from irrigation, industries will be established in Nuapada. The state government is preparing a plan. Saying that he will go to Nuapada very soon and express his gratitude to the people of Nuapada, the newly elected MLA Jai Dholakia will work to fulfill the hopes and aspirations of the people of Nuapada, said Chief Minister Shri Majhi.
We organized and fought the elections. Elections are a war. A proper strategy is required for the war. A plan was prepared for the strategy. The plan was implemented by the workers. It was the self-confidence of the workers that gave the BJP a big victory. First, the battlefield for fighting the elections was prepared with the workers of 5 parliamentary constituencies. Later, ministers were given mandal responsibility and MLAs were given panchayat responsibility. Workers were given responsibility in various places from the state to the panchayat level. Wherever the workers were given responsibility, they discharged their responsibility efficiently.
The local people fought the elections and the leaders and ministers who went out to boost their morale only cooperated. The leadership of the popular Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi brought the work and success of the BJP government to everyone. The people of Nuapada expressed their confidence. 7 days before the voting, it was clear that there would be a one-sided victory. The trust of the people of Nuapada in the BJP, which was in third place in the last general election, has increased and they voted in record numbers, making us the first. State President Shri Manmohan Samal said that he would like to express his heartfelt thanks and congratulations to all the ministers, MLAs, MPs, senior leaders of the BJP government, officers and workers of all fronts and cells.
Nuapada elections were a big challenge for us. The Chief Minister’s two big road shows were a game changer. Since Nuapada is a border district of Chhattisgarh, the BJP workers of Chhattisgarh played an active and important role.
