Water Treatment Plant inaugurated at IMFA Mines at Sukinda in Jajpur

BHUBANESWAR/SUKINDA: A Water Treatment Plant (WTP) with a capacity of 6000 Litre per hour  at our Mahagiri Chromite Mines was inaugurated by Pritiranjan Gharai, MLA of Sukinda, in presence of  Sanjeev Das, SVP, Head – Mining Business Unit; IMFA Ltd and Sudhanshu Patni, VP (Mining) on Wednesday.  Kalpana Jena, Kaliapani Sarapanch was also present among other dignitaries on this occasion. In this WTP, the waste water from the underground mine is processed without using chemicals and made potable.

Speaking on this occasion, Shri Pritiranjan Gharai, Hon’ble MLA of Sukinda lauded the efforts for installing this kind of  Water Treatment Plant and said it is an example for other mines in this region .On this occasion ,  Sanjeev Das, SVP, Head – Mining Business Unit; IMFA Ltd said about the benefits on this Water Treatment Plant .At the end of the meeting ,  Sudhanshu Patni, VP (Mining) ; IMFA ltd gave vote of thanks to all .
