KENDRAPARA/BHUBANESWAR: Union Women and Child Development and Minority Affairs Minister Smriti Irani on Saturday paid a visit to Odisha to campaign for Party candidate.
Union Minister Smriti Irani addressed a huge gathering under Aul Assembly segment of Kendrapara Lok Sabha seat in Odisha, where Party’s MP candidate and National Vice President, Baijayant Jay Panda , MLA candidate Krushna Chandra Panda , former Aul MLA Dola Gobinda Nayak, Party’s MLA candidate for Kendrapara Assembly seat, Gitanjali Sethi and other senior leaders were among those present.
While addressing the Vijay Sankalp Samavesh, Irani said, the BJD government has stolen the key to the treasure of Mahaprabhu Shree Lord Jagannath. If the BJP government comes to power in Odisha, the key to the treasure will be made public. ‘Tamil Nadu contractor babu looted Odisha’ said Irani while targeting BJD. She praises Party’s Uttar Pradesh Election in charge and MP candidate Baijayant Panda for pro-people works.
‘Today, Odisha has become a hotbed of corruption. Give BJP a chance this time, corruption will be freed in Odisha’ she said. Talking about not completing the medical college in Kendrapara, Union Minsiter Irani said that when the BJP government comes, there will be a medical college in Kendrapara.
She praised Party MP candidate Baijayant Panda for his efforts to ensure drinking water facilities for the people of Kendrapara. She said instead of extending a helping hand to provide a solution to the problems of the people, the BJD government targeted Jay Panda
“I want to tell those BJD people who targeted you (Jay Panda) that when the battle of Mahabharat began, even Kauravas humiliated Lord Krishna; but the people of Kendrapara will give a befitting reply on June 1,” said Irani
