PURI/BHUBANESWAR:National Human Rights Commission Special Monitor Mokrishna Goel visited Puri district today. Shri Goel was welcomed by District Collector Divya Jyoti Parida and SP Pratya Singh on behalf of the district administration. Later, Shri Goel visited Chaud Batia Higher Primary School of Satyabadi Block.
There, he inspected the education of children, mid-day meal, cleanliness, etc. and interacted with the children and teachers. Later, he visited Gopalpur Patna 2 Anganwadi Center.
He asked the Anganwadi workers about the arrangements for children, food and drink, education methods. Later, he visited Utkal Balashram and interacted with the boarders, inquired about the facilities provided. Shri Goel also reviewed the documents at all the places and gave various suggestions.
During this visit, Additional District Collector Administration Sarat Chandra Behera and Additional District Collector Protocol Neelmadhav Bhoi, District Education Officer Deepak Kumar Padhi, District Social Welfare Officer Tanuprava Beura, District Child Protection Officer Manoj Kumar Tripathi and other officials cooperated.
