Villagers of Teherai-Bhanjapali in Koira in Sundargarh Extends Full Support to Rungta Sons Pvt Ltd’s Proposed 34 MPTA Iron Ore Beneficiation Plant , Public Hearing Completed Successfully

KOIRA/BONAI/BHUBANESWAR: Rungta Sons Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of Rungta Mines Ltd’s proposed 34 MPTA Iron Ore Beneficiation Plant at Teherai-Bhanjapali in Koira in Sundargarh in Odisha got full support from locals.

During a public hearing conducted by the local administration, villagers extended full support to the Company. The locals lauded the CSR works of Rungta Sons Pvt Ltd and Rungta Mines Ltd. Entire Teherai-Bhanjapali put their whole support behind the company.

They demanded to give top priority to land losers and local people, to which Company agreed for it. They also demanded that those family does not have male members or youths , senior family members should be provided financial help through monthly pension.

As per local Tahasildar, around 80 villagers attended the public hearing while 175 villagers given their consent in writing extending support to the Plant.

Local villagers also admitted that the both Rungta Sons Pvt Ltd and Rungta Mines Ltd did many development works in entire Koira and Bonai division of Sundargarh and the company always gives priority to local people.

They also urged Company and Local Government officials to take steps to check pollution and take corrective measures. Locals also demanded better health facilities and construction of new school and play ground.
