On Saturday, on the allegation of possession of disproportionate assets by Sri Manoj Kumar Behera, Executive Engineer Drainage Division, Gandarpur, Cuttack simultaneous house searches by Odisha Vigilance are going on at 4 places in Cuttack and Bhubaneswar .
4 DSPs, 8 Inspectors, and other staff are conducting search on the strength of Search Warrants issued by Hon’ble Special Judge Vigilance, Cuttack.Search is in progress.
Earlier on Tuesday, Ajaya Kumar Mishra, Assistant Executive Engineer, R & B, BBSR was arrested by Odisha Vigilance and forwarded to the Court of Spl. Judge Vigilance, Dhenkanal in a disproportionate assets case. He was remanded to jail custody.
Cuttack Vigilance P.S. Case No.15 dt.15.03.2022 has been registered against Sri Mishra and his spouse U/s 13(2) r/w 13(1)(b) /12 PC Act, 1988 as amended by PC (Amendment) Act, 2018.
