BHUBANESWAR/NUAPADA: Assets worth over Rs.6.73 Cr. Unearthed in house search of Sri Ratnakar Sethy, Addl.Civil Supplies Officer (ACSO), Nuapada.
Early on Wednesday, ,on the allegation of accumulation of disproportionate assets by Sri Ratnakar Sethy ACSO, Nuapada , simultaneous searches by Odisha Vigilance are going on at 6 locations.
According to reports, six teams comprising 6 DSPs, 12 Insp and other officers conducted the raid on the strength of search warrant issued by Special Judge, Cuttack.
Till now, two buildings, a kalyan mandap, 3-acre land, Rs 1.13 cr insurance, 498 gm gold and 2.5 kg silver ornaments have been detected.
However, the exact amount of disproportionate assets that the Government official has possessed will be ascertained after completion of the search drive, said Vigilance sources.
Assets unearthed so far:
1) One Four storeyed building at Chauliaganj, Ctc, worth Rs.2,12,25,000/-
2) 1 double storeyed building at Balisahi,Ctc.
3) 1 triple storeyed
building(Kalyan Mandap) named Natraj Palace at Balisahi, Ctc.
4) Insurance deposits worth Rs.1,17,54,828/- Cr.
5) A farm house measuring area of 3 Acres of land with boundary wall & Rest Shed at Oranda, Ctc.
6) 4 plots
7) Bank deposits including fixed deposits worth Rs.89,24,081/-
8) Gold & Silver ornaments worth Rs.20,94,000/-
9) Household articles – Rs.16,54,900/-
10) 3 two wheelers
11) Cash & other movable & immovable properties all totalling to over Rs.6.73 Cr.
