BHUBANESWAR: On Friday, short while ago, Nrusingha Charan Rout, RI(Revenue Inspector), Goda and I/c RI, Padmapur under Ersama Tahasil, in Jagatsinghpur has been apprehended by Odisha Vigilance while demanding and accepting bribe Rs 6,000/- from a Complainant in order to submit enquiry report in his favour in a Mutation Case.
The entire bribe money has been recovered from the exclusive possession of accused Sri Rout, RI and seized.
Following the trap, simultaneous searches are going on at two locations of Sri Rout, RI from D.A angle.
In this connection, Cuttack Vigilance PS case no. 26/2023 U/s-7PC Amendment Act, 2018 has been registered.Investigation is in progress against accused Sri Rout, RI. Detailed report follows.
