BHUBANESWAR: Bhargab Mahakud, Junior Revenue Assitant., office of Tahasildar, Jasipur, in Mayurbhanj has been apprehended by Odisha Vigilance on Friday while demanding and accepting bribe of Rs. 40,000/-from a Complainant in order to process file in mutation case for issuance of ROR(Patta) in his favour.
In this connection, Balasaore Vigilance PS Case No.34/22 u/s 7 PC Amendment Act ,2018 has been registered. Investigation in progress.
