BHUBANESWAR: On Thursday, Debashis Panda, Junior Revenue Assistant, O/o Tahasildar, Ghatagaon, Keonjhar has been apprehended by Odisha Vigilance while taking bribe Rs.10,000/- from a Complaint for issuance of partition pattas (ROR) in his & his siblings’ favor in two cases as per revenue law.
The entire bribe money has been recovered from the possession of accused Sri Panda, Junior Revenue Assistant and seized.
Following the trap, simultaneous searches are going on at 3 locations of Sri Panda from DA angle.
In this connection, Balasore Vigilance PS Case No.12/2023 U/s 7 P.C. (Amendment) Act, 2018 has been registered. Investigation is in progress.
