BHUBANESWAR: On Friday, Jugal Kishore Rout, Section Officer, Belpada Tahasil, Bolangir has been apprehended by Odisha Vigilance while demanding and accepting #bribe of Rs.15,000/- from a Complainant for processing the file & pass the favourable order relating to a land dispute.
In this connection, Sambalpur Vigilance P.S. Case No.40/22 U/s.7 P.C. (Amendment) Act, 2018 has been registered. Investigation in progress.
