BHUBANESWAR: On Tuesday, Jagannath Behera, Asst. Manager, TPNODL, Bangiriposi Section, Mayurbhanj, has been apprehended by Odisha Vigilance while demanding and accepting bribe Rs. 10,000/- from a Complt. ( Contractor) for issuance of work completion certificate.
During his search following the trap,hard cash of Rs.1.5 lakh recovered from his possession and seized. In this connection Balasore Vigilance PS Case no 2/22 U/s 7P.C.(Amnd.)Act 2018 has been registered. Simultaneous searches launched at his properties. Investigation in progress.
